Castle Beach
50° 8' 50" N 5° 3' 10" WCastle Beach is Falmouth's most northerly and quietest beach.
Castle Beach is sheltered by Pendennis Head and the water is generally calm and clear making it a great spot for swimming, snorkelling, scuba diving and stand up paddle boarding (SUP).
Free but limited parking can be found on the road above the beach, and on the concrete sea defence you can find a pleasant café and public toilets.
There is no beach here at high tide but during low tide a large rocky expanse is exposed, revealing many rock pools.

Falmouth is a large town and well signposted from all directions. Castle Beach is located on the seafront on Cliff Road.
Parking for Castle Beach
Castle Beach doesn't have a car park itself. The closest public car park is located at Gyllyngvase Beach or you can park for free along Cliff Road. The road does get busy during the summer months.
