Maenporth Beach
50° 7' 34" N 5° 5' 12" WMaenporth Beach set between Falmouth and the Helford River is a popular beach for all activities.
The cafe located at the beach car park is open year round serving a variety of freshly made hot and cold food and drinks. There are public toilets just befind the cafe and car parking is charged per car.
The car park can become full early in the day during the summer months, so another option is to walk along the coast path from Swanpool Beach in Falmouth, which takes approximately 30 minutes.
The wreck of the Ben Asdale, a Scottish trawler that ran aground in December 1978, can be seen on the rocks on the northern side of the bay.
