Lying adjacent to some of the richest fishing grounds in the Northern Hemisphere, the iconic harbour is the fulcrum of Cornwall’s fishing industry and one of the UK’s leading ports – recognised as a centre of excellence and for its pioneering approach.
Fresh fish is landed here daily from large trawlers, a very different harbour to those in the quieter Cornish villages. The harbour still accommodates smaller vessels and pleasure boats.
Newlyn has beautiful panoramic views of Mount’s Bay and towards the Lizard Peninsula on clearer days.

Parking in Newlyn can be found at the Tolcarne Place car park located near the harbor. This is a pay-and-display car park, suitable for both short and long stays.
