Greenaway Beach
50° 34' 5" N 4° 55' 38" WGreenaway Beach is tucked away between Polzeath and Daymer Bay.
Greenaway Beach is nice and sheltered with plenty of little coves and has lots of rock pools at low tide to keep the children entertained. The beach also features very unusual purple and green slate rocks which are great for geologists.
Greenaway beach is a dog friendly beach all year round, so makes a great place to take your dog for a run around if you are staying at nearby Polzeath (which has dog restrictions in the summer months). Please be aware this beach isn’t lifeguarded.
