Poldhu Cove
50° 1' 56" N 5° 15' 58" WPoldhu Cove is one of the most popular beaches on the Lizard Peninsula.
The cove is one of the most popular beaches on the Lizard Peninsula, partly because it is less remote than many, but also because it is a fantastic, sandy family beach.
Poldhu is a great stop when passing on coastal walks as the cafe is open year round selling a variety of food and drinks. During the summer months live music events are also put on. Poldhu is an easy walk on the South West Coast Path to neighbouring Gunwalloe Cove, and great to explore both beaches on the same trip.
There is a surf school that is open during the summer season and the beach is popular with surfers when the conditions are good.
