Directions to River Gannel
To reach Crantock Beach (the closest parking for the River Gannel) from the A30, take the exit for the A392 towards Newquay. Follow the A392 for about 6 miles, passing through Quintrell Downs. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the A3075 towards Crantock. After approximately 3 miles, turn left onto the B3285, signposted for Crantock. Follow the B3285 into the village of Crantock. For Crantock Beach, continue through the village, following signs to the National Trust car park, which provides access to both the beach and the River Gannel.
Parking for River Gannel
The closest parking for the River Ganel is at the Fern Pit Café and Ferry, offering limited spaces with direct access to the estuary. However, the best option is probably Crantock Beach National Trust car park, which provides ample parking and acess to the river via the beach. Additionally, Newquay town centre has several car parks, such as Mount Wise and Atlantic Road car parks, which are a short drive from the estuary. Be sure to check parking fees and regulations, as they may vary by location and season.
